Hide Lexy branding on QR and share pages
One switch takes the Lexy logo off the page your QR codes and share links open.
When someone scans your game's QR code or opens its short link, the game opens on a page of its own. By default, the top of that page shows the Lexy logo and a line saying where the game came from. One switch on your profile takes both away, so the page shows only your game.
Turn it on
- Click your initials in the header, then My Profile.
- Find the card Hide Lexy branding, with the line "Your QR codes and share links open without the Lexy logo".
- Turn its switch on. A message confirms Lexy branding hidden on your QR pages.
The change is saved straight away. Anyone who opens one of your QR codes or links from then on sees the page without the branding. To bring it back, turn the switch off.
What it hides
On the page that opens from your game's QR code or short link, the switch removes:
- The Lexy logo at the top of the page.
- The line "This game was shared with you from lexy.fm" under it.
It applies to every game you created, all at once. Send to Phone and Send to Email send the same short link, so the page they open is covered too. For more on QR codes and links, see Share a game by phone, QR code or link.
What stays
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| The game | The page still shows the game's title and the play window, with Call Now to Play and the other ways to play. |
| Lexy's voice | Lexy still hosts the game and reads the questions, on the page and on the phone. |
| The address | The short link still starts with https://lexy.fm/g/. |
| Texts and emails | The messages that Send to Phone and Send to Email send still mention Lexy. Only the page they open changes. |
| Your widgets | The switch changes only the page a QR code or short link opens. Your widgets on your own pages stay as they are. |
If the switch won't stay on
If the switch flips back off and you see Branding settings are not available yet., the setting isn't ready on your account yet. Nothing changes for your players: your pages keep the Lexy logo. Try again later.
Common questions
Do I need a new QR code?
No. The QR code and the short link stay the same and keep working. Only the page they open changes, so codes you've already printed pick up the new look.
What about games I didn't create?
The setting follows the game's owner. If you share another publisher's game, its page shows or hides the branding by that publisher's choice, not yours.
Can I hide it on some games and not others?
No. The switch covers every game you created, together.
