Share a game by phone, QR code or link

Every published Lexy game can be played without your page: Lexy can call a player, a QR code can open it on a phone, and a short link works anywhere you can paste one. All of them start from the game's Play Game button.

Have Lexy call a player

1. Open the game and click Play Game.
2. Click Call Now to Play. From your dashboard, Lexy calls the number on your account, which is the quickest way to hear a game the way players do.

Lexy calls straight away and plays the game out loud. The player answers by speaking, and hears their score at the end. On a game's public play page and in your widgets, players enter their own number.

Show a QR code

1. Click Play Game, open the arrow next to Call Now to Play, and choose Scan QR Code.
2. The code appears with three steps for the player: open the phone's camera, point it at the code, tap the link.

To print the code, save the image from that screen (right-click it, or press and hold on a phone) and place it in your layout.

Scanning opens the game's own play page, where the player can have Lexy call them, play online, or have the link texted to their phone.

Share the link

Once a game has a QR code, it also has a short link of the form https://lexy.fm/g/ followed by the game's code. The QR code opens the same link, so you can paste it into a newsletter, a social post or a text message.

The link works while the game is published. If the game is unpublished, it goes to Lexy's game list instead.

Send it to a phone or an inbox

From the game's menu:

• Send to Phone texts a link to the game to your phone, ready to forward.
• Send to Email emails a link to the game.

Put a QR code on your page

A widget can show a scan-to-play code in place of the game card: in the widget settings, set Widget Mode to QR. See Add Lexy to your site.

Common questions

What does a phone call cost the player?

Lexy places the call, so it reaches the player like any incoming call. Standard call rates from their carrier apply.

Do QR plays show in my stats?

Yes. The game's stats count QR Code Scans separately from phone calls and online play. See Read your game stats.
