Read your game stats

Plays for a game, how people reached it, and how each question did.

Reports
Updated October 4, 2026

Every game has its own report: how many people played, how they reached it, when they played, and how each question did. Widgets have a report of their own, and My Players shows the people behind the plays, without names or numbers.

Open a game's stats

  1. Go to My Games.
  2. On the game's card, click Stats.

The report opens in a drawer titled with the game's name.

Choose what to count

  • All, Website or Widget: plays from everywhere, from lexy.fm and your phone calls, or from your widgets.
  • Dates: click it to choose a range. The report starts at the game's last update and runs to today.
  • The refresh button reloads the numbers, and PDF downloads the report.

What each part shows

PartWhat it shows
Total PlaysEvery play started in the range: phone calls and online games. Showing or scanning a QR code is not a play by itself.
PlayersHow many different people played.
Avg. ScoreThe average share of questions answered right, across finished online plays.
CompletionThe share of online plays that reached the end.
Play MethodsPhone Calls and Online Play, each with its share of total plays, and QR Code Scans: how many times the game was opened from a QR code or share link, with the share that went on to play.
Peak Activity Day and Peak Activity HourThe day of the week and the hour with the most plays.
Avg. Session DurationHow long a play lasts on average.
QuestionsHow each question did. See below.
Activity TrendPlays over time: by day for up to two weeks, by week up to three months, by month beyond that.

The Questions section

Each question gets a card with its number and wording, how many people answered it, and the share who got it right. Under that, the answers people picked, with the right one ticked, so you can see which wrong option drew people in.

If you corrected a question, each version has its own card: the live one labelled Current wording, earlier ones labelled Earlier wording with the date they were last answered. Results from different versions are never added together. See Correct a question after it is live.

A question's results count each player's first answer only.

Widget stats

On My Widgets, click Stats on a widget for its own report: views, play clicks, plays, completions, accuracy, the sites it ran on, and its QR and online play. Choose All Time, Last Week, Last Month or your own dates.

My Players

My Players lists the people who played your games, each under an anonymous player number, with how many games and plays they have, their accuracy, and when they first and last played. A badge marks each one New, Return or Regular.

Export to a spreadsheet

  1. On My Players, click Export.
  2. Under What to export, choose one row per player or one row per game played.
  3. Narrow it by Widget, Site or dates if you like, then click Download CSV.

The file holds anonymous player numbers only, never names or phone numbers. Phone plays are included when no widget or site is chosen.

Common questions

Why is the Questions section missing?

It appears once a game has answers to report. A game nobody has finished a question in yet has nothing to show there.

Does a phone call count as a play?

Yes. A call started from a game's play window counts under Phone Calls, and the answers given on the call count in Questions.
