Add people to your team

Up to five people can work in your Lexy account with you. Each signs in with their own email and password, and works on the same games, widgets, ads and reports. You don't share your password with anyone.

Invite someone

1. Click your initials at the top right and choose Team.
2. Under Invite by email, enter their address and click Invite.

Lexy emails them a Join the team link. It works for 7 days and only once. The Team panel lists them as waiting to join until they do. Cancel invite withdraws it.

Join a team

1. Open the Join the team link from the email.
2. Sign in with the address the invite was sent to. Without a Lexy account, create a free one with that address. You come back to the invite either way.
3. Click Join the team.

You land in the team's account. The invite only works for the address it was sent to, so a forwarded link won't let anyone else in.

What a team member can do

Team members work in your account as you do:

• Games: create, edit and publish games.
• Widgets: make widgets and get their embed code.
• Ads: run ads in your games.
• Reports: read game, widget and ad stats, and use My Players and its export.

Some things stay yours alone:

• Your settings: account details, password and language.
• Billing: your plan and subscription.
• The team: only you can invite or remove people.

A team member's My Profile shows whose team they're on instead of your settings.

Each game's Activity shows which person made each change. See Publish, unpublish or delete a game.

Remove someone or leave

• To remove a member: open Team and click Remove next to them. They lose access to your account the next time they open a page.
• To leave a team: open Team and click Leave the team. You go back to your own account.

Joining again takes a new invite.

Common questions

Can I be on more than one team?

One at a time. Joining a new team takes you off the one you were on.

What happens to my own account while I'm on a team?

It stays as it is. While you're on a team you work in the team's account. Leave the team to get back to yours.

Do a team member's own games and scores count as mine?

No. When a team member plays a game, signs in to a widget or saves a score as a reader, that's recorded as themselves, not as the account owner.

How do team members change their own password?

They sign out, choose Forgot password on the sign-in screen, and follow the email.
