Add a reader profile to your site

A page on your site where readers see their games and scores and switch on daily calls from Lexy.

Reader accounts
Updated October 5, 2026

The Profile widget gives your readers a page for their Lexy account on your own site: the games they played in your widgets, their scores, and daily calls from Lexy. Put it on a page of its own, such as an account or "My games" page.

Create it

  1. Go to My Widgets and click Create Widget, then Profile.
  2. Fill in the settings below.
  3. Click Preview Widget to see it in your colour, then Save widget.
SettingWhat it does
NameShown in My Widgets only. Your readers don't see it.
LanguageEnglish, Spanish, Arabic or Turkish, for every word in the profile and its sign-in.
Allowed DomainThe site it runs on, such as example.com. Optional. With it, the profile only shows on that site.
Primary ColorIts colour. With Auto on, Lexy reads your brand colour from the allowed domain.
Filled CardFills the profile with your colour instead of setting it quietly into the page.

The widget saves as published, so it works as soon as you paste it.

Embed it

On My Widgets, open the widget's Details and click Copy Code, or choose Copy Embed Code from its menu. Paste it where the profile should appear. See Add Lexy to your site.

The same menu has Edit, Unpublish and Delete. An unpublished profile shows nothing on your page.

What readers see

Signed out, the profile shows a line inviting them to sign in, and a Sign in with Lexy button. See Let readers sign in on your site.

Signed in, it shows:

  • Basic information: their name and email, with Sign out.
  • Player stats: Games played, Correct answers and Accuracy, from your widgets.
  • Recent games: their five latest games in your widgets, each with its date and score.
  • By phone: two programs, each with a switch for every call time.
ProgramWhat Lexy doesCall times
Daily news brief callCalls with the day's news brief and a quick quiz.Mornings, 8 AM or Evenings, 8 PM
Daily game callCalls with a short trivia game they answer out loud.Afternoons, 3 PM or Evenings, 9 PM

Times follow the reader's time zone in most of the US and Canada, and are otherwise Eastern, marked ET. Each program calls at one time: switching on the other time replaces the first.

For the Daily game call, readers can pick Categories. Picking none gives a mix of everything.

Turning on a call

  1. The reader switches on a call time.
  2. They enter a US or Canada mobile number under Mobile number. If their account already has a number, the calls go to that one.
  3. They tick the box beside the consent sentence. It is never ticked for them.
  4. They click Text me a code, type the code from the text, and click Confirm and turn on. A number that is already confirmed skips the code, and the button reads Turn on.

A text then confirms the program, your site, the time, and how to stop.

The consent sentence names the program and your site. It says Lexy may call with automated, AI-voiced calls, up to once a day at the chosen time, that agreeing isn't required to use the site, and how to stop. Lexy keeps the exact sentence each reader agreed to.

Stopping calls

  • In the profile: switch the call time off. Lexy stops calling at once.
  • By text: reply STOP to any Lexy text. Every program on that number stops.

To start again after STOP, the reader texts START to +1 888 255 5399, then switches the program back on in the profile. START alone doesn't turn calls back on.

Common questions

Can I see which readers turned on calls?

No. Readers' accounts and phone numbers stay private. Their plays show in My Players under anonymous player numbers. See My Players and export.

Why didn't the code arrive?

Codes go to US and Canada mobile numbers only, and each lasts 10 minutes. The reader can click Text a new code. A number that replied STOP gets no texts until it texts START.
